McDonald NHL Power Ratings – March 27, 2022

Hockey playerHere’s the last of my three catch-up McDonald NHL Power Ratings reports, once again without my usual witty insights and insightful commentary.  I was on a trans-atlantic cruise without Internet access for 16 days, so I got behind, but next week’s report should be back to normal.

Colorado remains the top rated team, and the most likely to win the Stanley Cup.  Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Florida remain in the top 5, and Calgary has entered the top 5 during the time of my cruise.  The playoff teams in the East seem pretty much decided, but there’s still some uncertainty in the West.  There’s less than a month to go in the regular season, so things should get pretty exciting now!
